revak

One script.
Many places.

A small studio that designs with code, at every scale. We write one Grasshopper rule for each design, show it on Instagram and give you the script behind it.

a shaded arcade

A revak is a shaded arcade. One arch, repeated by a rule, gives shade to everyone. We do the same with code.

Hills that grow with the child

Drag the line: our clay model on the left, the AI concept on the right. The geometry does not change.

Grey clay model of a riverside park with twelve stepped hills, seen from a low drone. The same park as an AI-assisted concept image: blue, coral and yellow stepped hills with slides among trees by the river at sunset.

What if a playground knew how old you are? We wrote one rule for a riverside park. Three age points give every spot in the park an age. Hill height, step height and tread depth follow it: wide, knee-high steps for toddlers, steeper hills with slides for older kids. A second rule keeps parents in view, so the hills nearest the benches stay low.

How every entry is made

Rule, place, picture

The same three steps for every post. The process slide is always in the carousel.

Lino drawing a line with a giant red pencil. 01 · Write the rule

One idea, three parameters

One Grasshopper definition per post. If we can't say the rule in one sentence, it isn't ready.

Mira kneeling to measure the ground with a tape. 02 · Read the place

A real site, real data

Sun hours, orientation, footpaths, who uses it. The rule runs on that place, so the result belongs to it.

Mira and Lino crouching over a blue site plan, pointing at it. 03 · Render the concept

Clay first, then light

We model it in clay, then use AI to add light, material and people. The geometry stays ours.

Rule library

Six rules we keep coming back to

Every entry is built from one of these families. The red dot is the attractor: move it and the whole pattern answers.

P1 · attractor

Panels that answer a point

Panel size follows distance to a stop, a door, a view.

GRID
P2 · voronoi

Cells that open the ground

Depave, plant, let water in. Cells shrink where people walk.

CELLS
P3 · perforation

Holes that read the sun

Every hole is sized by the sun angle at that spot.

SEED
P4 · quadtree

Splits with a reason

A grid divides itself only where the program asks for it.

SPLIT
P5 · fins

Fins that turn with the wind

Each fin rotates toward sun or wind, one angle at a time.

FINS
P6 · skins

One block, many skins

The same building, a new facade for each climate.

SKIN

The word on each card is its Instagram keyword. Comment GRID under a post and we send you that mini script.

Pick a rule, drag the red dot, move the three sliders. It is what the free mini script does in Grasshopper.

Who you'll see in our posts

Meet Mira and Lino

We're a small computational design studio, and these two stand in for us. One goes out and reads the place. The other writes the rule. Every entry needs both.

FAQ

Fair questions

Mira pointing to the right.
Is this real?

No. Real places, imagined projects. Nothing here is built. Every post says so.

Is it AI?

The geometry is ours, from our own script. AI only renders it: light, materials, people and weather. Drag the slider on the latest entry to see the difference.

Which software?

Rhino 8 and Grasshopper for the geometry, with Python inside Grasshopper. AI image models for the renders.

Can I get the script?

Yes. Each post has a keyword. Comment it on Instagram and we send you the free mini script.

Can we work together?

Collaborations and university workshops: write to hello@revak-studio.com.

Atlas

Which city should this script visit next?

Every post is an atlas entry. Same script, new latitude, new sun, new design. Send us a city on Instagram and it may become the next entry.
